The impact of inaccurate mitochondrial translation on stress signaling and ageing
I obtained my Master’s degree in Biotechnology with specialization ’Molecular mechanisms and therapies of civilization diseases’ at University of Warsaw in Poland. I have always been interested in protein synthesis and quality control and had the opportunity to explore these areas during summer internships.
I decided to join Martin Ott’s group at Stockholm University and work on mitochondrial translation, because I consider it as a perfect combination of my interests that I gained during studies and internships. Moreover, I believe that being a part of REMIX ITN will help me in expanding my knowledge and skills, as well as will turn out to be a great experience.
